Come to me my animal friends!!!!!
Saturday we had a surprise visitor to our backyard pond. A Great Blue Heron showed up to investigate the waterfalls and see if I had stocked the ponds with any fish. Check out the photos and video courtesy of Rachel and her brand new digital camera:

That's really cool. You will have to stock your pond so that it keeps coming back. Besides, you can practice your flyfishing as well.
I want one. We don't even get blue jays very often since the tall trees got hacked. Woe is me.
